Before the start of the 4-Hills-Tournament on Thursday two COC competitions will take place in Engelberg (SUI). Today’s competition started with a training round at 14:30 CET which was dominated by the Slovenian team: The first three places went to Bor Pavlovcic (133 m), Miran Zupancic (132.5 m) and Aljaz Osterc (136.5 m). Also the Norwegians Sigurd Nymoen Soeberg and Joakim Aune showed good jumps, as well as the young Finn Antti Aalto who could prove again that he is in good form.
Before the first round another trial round took place which was dominated by the Norwegians Soeberg (134.5 m) and Forfang (136.5 m) as well as by the Slovenians Pavlovcic (134 m) and Osterc (137.5 m). So it was no surprise that those teams were the clear favourite at today’s competition.

He was followed by his teammate Johann Andre Forfang (139 m, 144.5 pts) on the second and Miran Zupancic (137.5 m, 144.2 pts) on the third place. Bor Pavlovcic who had good training jumps finished the first round on the 11th position, equal on points with Andreas Wank (GER), only 1.1 points behind Nejc Dezman on the 10th place.

The leading Norwegian after the first round Joakim Aune was already 5.8 points behind his teammate. Miran Zupancic showed a weaker jump in the second round so that he had to be satisfied with the 7th place after the competition.
